Malcolm Spencer

CEO

Malcolm Spencer is CEO of Health is Now and an accomplished professional trainer.

His leadership is underpinned by a unique global perspective, forged through experiences spanning from teaching overseas in Thailand, being a leader at some of Australia's largest telco companies, to time spent in reflection as a Buddhist monk.

As CEO, Malcolm’s primary focus is driving the organisation’s mission and ensuring complex research is translated into clear, passionate community action.

Evette Capistrano

Aged Care Expert

Evette is an actively practising aged care expert whose professional experience spans over a decade within both the public and private Australian hospital systems.

Specialising in hands-on dementia patient care, Evette brings the critical perspective of the frontline to Health is Now. She possesses an unparalleled, deep understanding of the practical, day-to-day realities of care, ensuring our research and recommendations are always grounded in the immediate and essential needs of patients and their carers.

Dr Anna Christina

Dementia researcher

Born and raised in Australia, Anna completed her medical training in the UK.

Her expertise has been deployed at the highest levels of global health, having worked with the United Nations and various international charities on complex health and policy programmes.

Her mission with Health is Now is intensely local, driven by the five years she has spent caring for her own elderly grandmother who is battling dementia.
